Visit Out of Africa Wildlife Park - It's just like Africa in the heart of Arizona. Ride the Serengeti Safari tour among giraffe, wildebeest, zebra and other animals of the African plains. Tour the Wildlife Preserve and enjoy unobstructed views of large predators such as lions, tigers, panthers and hyena as they prowl their natural environment.

Hike to the bottom of Montezuma's Well - Visit the underground pool the Sinagua built for farming, near the Beaver Creek Ranger Station.

Visit Montezuma Castle National Monument - (near Middle Verde Rd., off I-17) is a preserved Sinagua pueblo ruin five stories high, with 20 rooms. Built in a cliff recess above the fertile valley, it looked Aztecan to early settlers.

Visit Tuzigoot National Monument - Located in Clarkdale, about 45 minutes from Sedona, the Sinagua Indians built and lived in this pueblo back in the 13th Century. See the ruin that still exists and learn how these early inhabitants survived on this small mound above the fertile fields . Be sure to stop at historic Old Town Cottonwood - its' on the way to Clarkdale and Jerome.

Visit Red Rock State Park - Visit this beautiful park on the west end of Sedona. The park has many trails and picnic areas and several tours. Take a guided bird walk. 98. Horseback or Stagecoach Rides - There are ranches and stables throughout the region with trails into the National Forest, ranging from one hour to all day. Some provide a chuck wagon supper at trail's end.
99. Take a Walk - You do not have to be an avid hiker to enjoy red rock country. Each trail has its own unique beauty, which has made people return again and again. Well seems like gone are the good 'ol days, but not here in Sedona where your typical ride about town and surrounding community affords spectacular views from every direction, and in every climate.
