URNA SYMBOL OF ENLIGHTENMENT
In Buddhism, the third eye (Urna) is a symbol of enlightenment. It is the eye of knowledge - the seat of the inner teacher/guru. The third eye is the ajna chakra (sixth chakra) also known as brow chakra or brow center. Iconographically it is denoted with a dot, eye or mark on the forehead of deities or enlightened beings, such as the Buddha and bodhisattvas. In the Upanishads, the third eye is the tenth gate and leads to inner realms housing myriad spaces of consciousness.
YIN YANG - TAOISM
Yin yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system. Everything has both yin and yang aspects, but either of these aspects may manifest more strongly in particular objects, and may ebb or flow over time.
All seperation exist only for the potential of union.
